2014 Q-SCHOOL FINALS: ROUND 1 RECAP
Thursday was the first round of the 2014 Web.com Q school finals. Jake Scott teed off at 10:20a on the more difficult Stadium course. He had an uneventful round with 15 pars, one bogey & two birdies. He ended up posting a 71 (one under par). He is in joint 64th place.
Ryan Armour (T15th) posted a solid round of 68 (-4) with 6 birdies and 2 bogeys on the Tournament course.
Justin Lower (T30th), also playing the Tournament Course made 4 birdies and one bogey on route to a fine 69 (-3).
So all things considered a solid start for all three of our NEOH boys.
Incidentally the stroke average on the Nicklaus Tournament Course was 70.34 and the Stadium course average was 72.31.
The players flip flop the courses today. Jake begins play on the Nicklaus Tournament Course on hole #1, and Ryan and Justin move over to the Stadium Course. Get up-to-the-minute hole-by-hole scoring here.
