The Clubhouse Cleveland Joins as 2023 Primary Sponsor

The Clubhouse ClevelandNorthern Ohio Golf welcomes The Clubhouse Cleveland, a state-of-the-art indoor golf facility located in Beachwood, as a 2023 Primary Sponsor.

Featuring a 1,000 square foot putting green and four large TrackMan simulators, The Clubhouse Cleveland is a golf performance center and year-round practice facility that focuses on helping players improve their game.

Drew Pierson, PGAThe Clubhouse is run by Drew Pierson, a 10-year Class A PGA Professional, accomplished tournament player and experienced golf executive. Pierson was the Director of Golf at Shaker Heights Country Club from 2013-2021. In 2019, he opened The Clubhouse with Sam Duvall, the owner of Topnotch Management, a company that manages tennis players and events. Pierson now runs The Clubhouse full time, focusing on making the facility a must-visit for anyone who wants to get better at golf.

“Our focus is player development and providing a place for golfers of all abilities to hone their skills,” Pierson said. “We have four spacious Trackman bays. We have a variety of different teaching technology, including the V1 coaching platform with high speed cameras, the Body-Trak pressure mat, and the K-Vest. We offer speed training. We even have a physical therapist with an office located inside the facility.”

Pierson’s true passion is teaching others how to play the game of golf and get better the ‘right way’.

“I have completed all three levels of TPI certification, among several other certifications,” said Pierson. “I think of myself as a student of the game and I will never stop learning. I have spent a lot of time with great teachers, trying to learn from as many worthwhile sources as possible. I take all of that information — from certifications and from other great teachers — then form my own opinions and teach from there.”

In addition to the practice facilities and lessons/training, The Clubhouse offers club fitting and club repair services, weekly leagues and events, and even some comfortable spots just to have a seat and watch some golf. Members get 24/7 keycard access to the facility to practice whenever they wish, a truly uncommon benefit.

You’ll likely get a quick tail-wagging visit from Kenny, the ‘Mayor of The Clubhouse’, too.

The Clubhouse Cleveland is easy to get to, as it sits less than five minutes from Interstate 271 off the Chagrin Road exit. Players are welcome to visit for the day, book some time in a TrackMan bay, perhaps schedule a Swing Evaluation. If the feel to the place is right, that player can then consider joining as a member, to use the facility and its highly-professional resources as often as possible.

Because that’s how you get better the ‘right way’.
