Elyria Country Club assistant pro Jacob Scott (USA) advanced from the pre-qualifying tournament into the first stage of PGA Tour Q-School today, finishing T-13 with rounds of 72-69-77=218 at Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach, FL. A position of 39th place and ties advanced, so Scott made it easily. Next up, First Stage Qualifying in mid-October, date and site TBD.
Next week (Sept 19 – 21), assistant pro Mike Emery of Canton Brookside will take on the same challenge at Arbor Links in Nebraska City, NE, while Justin Lower of Canal Fulton will head to Brunswick Country Club in Brunswick, GA to compete there.
