Want to play for a giant silver trophy that has Arnold Palmer‘s name on it?
The Northern Ohio Golf Association (NOGA) is hosting the 86th playing of Northeast Ohio Amateur Championship starting June 6th, and is accepting applications for invitation.
This 72 hole individual stroke play event has a history dating back to 1931 and an impressive list of local and nationally-known champions: Palmer, Joe Ungvary, Sr., Tom Whiteway, Harold Paddock, Bob Fairchild, Rob Moss, Larry Nagy, Doug Hauenstein, Dave Pulk, Tim Davis, Norton Brick, Joe Skupski, Jeff Mallette and many, many more local golf legends.
Round 1 is Monday, June 6th at Oberlin Golf Club, followed by Round 2 on Tuesday, June 7th at Windmill Lakes Golf Course. The Final Round(s) are Monday, June 15 at Weymouth Country Club, with 18 holes for the Senior Division and 36 holes for the Championship and brand new Mid-Am (age 25+) divisions.
Entry fee is $240 and includes golf + cart and lunch for all rounds.
