After a successful 2013 amateur golf season that saw him win the Chippewa Championship, finish as low-am in the Toledo Open and grab an alternate spot for the U.S. Am, Rob Schustrich of Windham will take that experience to Hiram College as its new golf coach starting with the spring season.
Schustrich earned the job yesterday and says he looks forward to taking over a team that probably hasn’t been challenged as much as necessary. “I can’t wait for the snow to get off the ground,” said Schustrich. “It’s going to be fun to see what we can accomplish. I look forward to structuring practices a bit more than has been done with this team in the past, and seeing where that leads.”
