Casey Schrader Increases Lead After Round Two
Casey Schrader, Pepper Pike Club combined his first round score of 69 with the low score of Tuesday, a 3-under par 68 at Chagrin Valley Country Club. Those two under-par rounds have given Schrader a six stroke lead at 5-under par 137 in the 2018 Northern Ohio PGA Professional Championship.
Schrader is ahead of Craig Burrows of Pine Hills Golf Course and Rob Moss of Pepper Pike Club, both currently tied for second place at 1-over par.
Final round action begins Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m.
After Wednesday’s play, six Northern Ohio PGA Members will qualify for the 2019 PGA Professional Championship presented by Club Car and OMEGA. The 52nd edition of the championship, to be played in Bluffton, SC, features a purse of $650,000 with live television coverage of all four rounds by the Golf Channel.
Jaysen Hansen has already earned an exemption into the national event by finishing top-twenty in the 2018 PGA Professional Championship.
