Rosemont Closes After 99 Years, Property To Be Developed

A letter emailed on Saturday to members of Rosemont Country Club said the club will not reopen in 2020 — the year that would have been its 100th anniversary.

Shareholders of Montrose Club Inc., the corporation that runs the club, met last Thursday to discuss the future of Rosemont.

At the meeting, the Board agreed to accept an offer from a developer to purchase Rosemont and all its assets.
