Rob Moss of Broadview Heights, head professional at The Pepper Pike Club, finished tied for ninth place in the 2018 Senior PGA Professional Championship at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL on Sunday, Oct 28th.
Posting rounds of 71-66-73-72=282 (-6), Moss earned $5,775. He also won a spot in a senior major for next year: the 2019 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship on May 23-26 at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, NY.
Southern Ohio PGA professional and three-time Ohio Open champion Bob Sowards of Kinsale Golf & Fitness Club in Dublin, OH won the 30th edition of the Senior PPC by two shots with a score 13-under par 275. Sowards holed out for an eagle-2 on the par-4 16th hole at the Wanamaker Course late on Sunday to seal the deal.
