Fifty-one players battled the elements at the first stroke play event of the Northern Ohio PGA season at Quail Hollow Country Club, on the Weiskopf/Morrish course. The event was a stableford format with one point given for par, 3 for birdie, 5 for eagle, 0 for bogey, and -2 for double bogey or higher.
In the main division, Brett Coluccio took home the win with 8 pars and 5 birdies.
Gary Rusnak from 1899 Golf captured the senior division with 22 points, making 13 pars and 3 birdies.
Next week, the Northern Ohio PGA travels to the second stroke play event of the season at Elyria Country Club.
