Northern Ohio PGA Professional Championship qualified nine players to The 2013 PGA Professional National Championship, June 23-26, 2013 at Sunriver Resort, Sunriver, OR.
The 2013 PGA Professional National Championship features a purse of $550,000, with live television coverage of all four rounds by the Golf Channel. A 312-player field of the nation’s finest PGA Professionals will assemble at Sunriver Resort, Sunriver, OR . Following 36 holes of play, the field will be trimmed to low 70 scores and ties.
The low 20 scores earn berths into the 95th PGA Championship, Aug. 8-11, 2013, at Oak Hill CC, Rochester, N.Y. In addition to the Walter Hagen Cup, the PGA Professional National Championship winner also receives an exemption into the next ten PGA Professional National Championships and exemptions into six PGA Tour Events over a 12-month period.
