Rory McIlroy recorded his 27th victory on the PGA Tour this past weekend with a comfortable win at a course he refers to as a “cathedral of golf” Pebble Beach.
In contrast, the Pebble Beach NOGA Fantasy Series event was very close, with the top 3 separated by only one stroke.
Scott Saari and Brad Trice both tied for first place with a team score of 56 strokes under par. Saari won the tie breaker by being the closest to guessing the winning score. Scott’s top-4 included Tom Kim (-16), Billy Horschel (-15), Scottie Scheffler (-15), and Adam Scott (-10).
The team of third-place finisher Jim Strunk completed the four days of golf at Pebble Beach another one shot behind Saari and Trice, at 55 under par.
For their team selections, Saari won $130 for his title, Trice earned $78 for finishing second, and Strunk $52 for third.
