In the Boys 16-19 Division, Andreas Reider (Mentor on the Lake) shot 40-36–76 to win the Boys 16-19 division. Andreas had 2 birdies and a hole-out from the fairway eagle on #17. He started with a double bogey and bounced back with a birdie on #2. Andrew Betz (Mentor) was 2nd with 42-35–77. Andrew struggled on the front nine and then played a solid back nine, that included 4 pars and 3 birdies. Michael Jaycic (Chesterland) had 41-37–78 and finished 3rd.
In the Boys 15&U Division, Wren Spires (Medina) had 40-34–74 to win the Boys 15 & Under division. Wren had a great back nine that included an eagle and a birdie. Wren had several drives in the 300 yard range and his eagle on #12 was a hole-out from the fairway. Austin Funk (Medina) shot 40-42–82 to finish 2nd, Austin had one birdie and his only big mistake was on #18 where he had a triple bogey. Zachary Raulie (Medina) finished 3rd with 44-40–84.
In the Girls 19&U Division, Anuja Patel (Pepper Pike) cruised to her first win on tour with a 44-47–91. Anuja had an early birdie on the par 5 2nd hole. She also added 3 pars. Kiera Chang (Chagrin Falls) had 54-44–98 to finish 2nd. Macey McGhee (Independence) shot 52-49–101 for 3rd place.
In the Team Championship on Tuesday at Tanglewood Golf Club the Titleist/Callaway team shot 231 (+15) and finished 9 strokes ahead of the season-long leader the Mizuno/Bridgestone team with a 240 (+24) today. Andreas Reider (Mentor on the Lake) 76 (+4), Andrew Betz (Mentor) 77 (+5), and Michael Jaycic (Chesterland) 78 (+8).
