The final Northern Ohio Golf Association event of the 2024 season was hosted at Lake Forest Country Club in Hudson, as thirty-six teams braced the fall conditions in the Sikich Net 2-Player Scramble #2.
Doug + Alex Fifner tied their fellow Oberlin Golf Club members,Adam Stiwald + Colin Coughlin at the top of the Championship Division, each finishing with a net 62. The Fifners would take advantage of the three handicap strokes they received by making birdie on two of those three holes, making seven total. Adam and Colin started strong with a gross eagle on the first hole, while also making birdie on the two holes where they would receive strokes.
The Senior Division would end in a four team tie, all finishing with with Net 62’s. The teams included in the tie were: Janet Shaheen + Theresa Stotler, Ben Aveni + Bill Starr, Frank Gioffre + Patrick Gioffre, and Al Miano + Steve Cochrane.
