Matthew Contipelli (Solon) wins his first NCJT tournament at Pine Ridge with a score of 35-39–74 (+3) in the Boys 16-19 Division. Matthew had a perfect front nine, with 8 straight pars and made a birdie on the par 4 9th hole, shooting (-1) on the front nine. Matthew made a birdie on the par 5 15th hole to get back to even par for the round, but he finished his round with a double bogey on the 17th hole and a bogey on the last. Peyton O’Keefe (Moreland Hills) finished in 2nd place with a score of 39-37–76 (+5). Peyton got off to a slow start, but managed to pull it together and shoot even par on his last 12 holes. He had three birdies for the round. Andreas Reider (Mentor) finished in 3rd place with a score of 79.
Lincoln Miller (Concord) wins his first NCJT event of the year in the Boys 15 & Under Division with a score of 39-39–78 (+7). This score tied Lincoln’s lowest round of his career. Lincoln got off to a slow start, but made birdie on the short par 3 4th hole and another on the 6th hole. He was the only one in his division to birdie the 6th hole. Noah Roberts (Brecksville) finished in 2nd place with an 88.
Hamilton Miller (Concord) continued his win streak in the Mini Tour 12 & Under Division with a score of 41 (+4) on the front nine. It was a good day for the Miller brothers, placing first in their divisions. Hamilton made two birdies on the front. He birdied the 2nd hole and the 6th hole. Jaxson Trebets (Chesterland) finished 2nd place with a score of 47 (+10).
