The Northern Ohio PGA headed to Sand Ridge Golf Club in Chardon, Ohio for the Pro-Assistants on May 31st. After a busy Memorial Day weekend for golf courses, professionals from around Northern Ohio brought their staff of assistant golf professionals to play in a four-ball format at one of the premier courses in Northeast Ohio.
Professionals could bring up to four assistants, playing on separate teams with each assistant. The event was sponsored by Jani King- Cleveland, Evolve Golf, and Golf Pro Payments with tee gifts provided by Adidas.
The team of Rob Moss and Sean McGuire from Pepper Pike took home the victory at 66 (-2) with seven birdies and a bogey on the round.
There was a three-way tie for second place between the teams of Mitch Camp/Collin McEndree (Club Walden), Trent Maxwell/Randy Dietz (Windmill Golf Center), and Tim Perin/Matt McMahon (Lakewood Country Club).
The Northern Ohio PGA travels to Firestone Country Club-Fazio Course next for the 37th Ohio Senior Open.
