Great weather and course conditions paved the way for a great day of golf at the Northern Ohio PGA’s Pro – 1 Am Scratch Four Ball. Professionals from around Northern Ohio came to Mayfield Country Club with their scratch students, old roommates, friends, family and more.
The team of Steve Stone, PGA and sixteen-year-old Perrysburg High School golfer Sydney Deal pulled out the victory, shooting 8-under par 63 that included six birdies and an eagle at the last hole.
The pair narrowly beat out Windmill Golf Center’s Ned Weaver and am partner Doug Hanzel as well as PGA Life Member Tom Atchison and his partner, David Soltesz. Both teams shot 7-under par 64.
The next stop for the NOPGA is the Stroke Play #4 at Oberlin Golf Club next Monday, June 20, 2022.
