We are starting off a great week of junior golf strong here at Pine Hills Golf Club. Our tour players loved Pine Hills, as it was in tremendous shape and it provided the players with a challenge. We saw many great scores here today, as well as some personal bests.
In our Boys 16-19 Division, Jack Myslenski came in with an outstanding four under par, 68. This is Myslenski’s personal best round, as he shattered his previous personal record by seven strokes.
In the Girls 16-19 Division, Paige McKendry won her division with an eleven over par, 84. This was a good score for the girls division today, as the course definitely provided these girls with a challenge.
In our Boys 11-15 Division, Daniel Gambone took home his sixth win of the season, as he won his division today with a two over par, 74. This is also a back to back win for Gambone, as he won last Friday at Fox Den.
In the Girls 11-15 Division we had a three way tie as Sherry Du, Ellie Gonzalez-Ribble, and Julia Gulla all came in with a 7-over par 80.
We would again like to thank David Kinnell, PGA for allowing us to host here at Pine Hills. The players enjoyed the challenge today and we are thankful that they all were able to play such a beautiful course. The course was also in great shape, with fast greens per the players commentary.
