We had a great event today at Mill Creek Golf Club as the players in both the 18 hole and 9 hole divisions enjoyed the course thoroughly. The players battled some wind gusts today, but other than a few gusts the conditions were beautiful. According to the players the course itself was in excellent condition.
On our 9 Hole Futures Tour, in our Boys 12-16 division we had Noah Gabriel take home the win with an outstanding one-under par 37. This was Gabriel’s best tournament round, and it also happened to happen on his birthday. In our Girls 12-16 division, Elena Varga won with a four-over par 42. In the Boys 8-11 division, Isaac Bowland took home his second win in a row with a 41. In the Girls 8-11 division, Anna Phillips came in with an awesome one-under par 35.
Now for our 18 hole series, we had Aidan Terek come in for the Boys 16-19 division with 71. This was also Terek’s best tournament round of his career. In the Girls 16-19 division, Evankah Shah and Ella Wong tied for the lead with a pair of 78’s. For the Boys 11-15 division, we had Ajay Morris steal the lead coming in with an even par 70. Morris had five impressive birdies in a row today on the front. In the Girls 11-15 division, Cammy Reed took home the win with a 78.
We would like to thank Brian Tolnar, for allowing us to host here at Mill Creek. Mr. Tolnar also caddied for his son Preston today at Mill Creek, which was an awesome sight to see as we go into Father’s day weekend.
