RESULTS: 2022 NOPGA Junior Series + Futures

Turkeyfoot Lake Golf Links hosted both the Futures Tour 9 hole series as well as our 18 hole Junior Series. Both groups fought hard throughout the heat today, as well as some interesting weather towards the end as the storms made their way through Akron.

In the Futures Tour, we awarded both first and second place in each division.

In the Girls 12-16 Division, Elena Varga took first place with 40. In second place, Emerson Glanding came in with a 45. In our Boys 11-16 division, Silas Kirkpatrick shot a three-under par 32 and made an eagle today, which was his favorite part of his round. Noah Gabriel came in second in his division with a 39. In our Boys 8-11 division, Isaac Bowland scored his best tournament round with a 41. In second place, we have Nathan Kinter and Coleson Paez who tied with a 42. In our Girls 8-11 division, Emma Gonzalez-Ribble came in first place with a 39. Anna Phillips followed close behind for second place with a 41.

In the 18 hole series, we had Thomas Kadair take the lead in the Boys 16-19 Division with an one-under par 71. In the Girls 16-19 division, Ella Wong took home the win, also with a one-under par 71.

Also within the 18 hole series, the younger groups also showed out today at Turkeyfoot with impressive scores. In the Boys 11-15 division, Raffaele Scassa came in with an even par 72. In the Girls 11-15 division, Cammy Reed took home the lead with a four over par 76.
