It was a beautiful day at Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club, and the NOPGA Juniors saw many good rounds throughout the day.
In the Boys 16-19 Division, Joshua Weiner took home the individual win with an even par 71. Weiner had an eagle in his round today, which he claimed was his favorite part of his round.
In the Girls 16-19 Division, we had a three-way tie for first place: Madolyn Kost, Paige McKendry, and Cara Heisterkamp all showcased their talents incredibly well.
In the Boys 11-15 division, Michael Tyler Polca took home the win with his best 18 hole tournament round, recording a one-under par 70. When Polca was asked about his round, he said his best hole of the day was #17 where he stuck his second shot to fifteen feet from under a tree. He also claimed that he was happy that both his mom and dad were there to watch him.
In the Girls 11-15 division, Gracyn Vidovic and Julia Gulla tied for first place both scoring an eleven over par, 82. Both girls were very proud of their rounds as they both worked hard throughout the entire day.
