Today we held our Futures Tour Championship at Mud Run Golf Course. Our juniors were able to take part in many different activities today which they seemed to greatly enjoy. The Futures Tour members were able to participate in games after their rounds today, as well as pick up some end of the season candy at our NOPGA trailer.
In the Boys 12-16 Division, Noah Gabriel won his division with a strong four over par, 38. Gabriel took home the win today as well as the Player of the Year award per his division. In second place was Luke DeJoseph who came in with five over par, 39. Coming in with a ten over par, 44 was Lucas Cutlip.
In the Girls 12-16 Division, Jaycee Kabasky took home the win with a ten over par, 44. In second place, Madelyn Addessi came in close behind with a 46. In third place, Kaylee Russell came in with a fourteen over par, 48. Elena Varga won the Player of the Year award today, as she has played many great rounds with us this summer.
In the Boys 8-11 Division, Nicholas Pollack came in with an impressive two over par, 36 to secure the win in his division. In second place, Nathan Kinter came in with a seven over par, 41. Issac Bowland came in third which not only secured him third place today, but also the Player of the Year position per points standings in the 8-11 Boys division.
In the Girls 8-11 Division, Anna Phillips took home the individual win with a great score of four over par, 38. Phillips also took home the Player of the Year award after today’s round at Mud Run. In second place, Chloe Wu came in with a 41, while Emma Gonzalez-Ribble came in close behind with a 42 to take third place.
We again want to thank Dirk Hartman, PGA for allowing us to host our Futures Tour Championship here at Mud Run. Our juniors all had a wonderful time out on the course today with their friends and families. We hope that all of the juniors have had a wonderful season, as we all greatly enjoyed watching them grow their love for the game. We also would like to congratulate our Player of the Year recipients for an impressive season of golf. The Northern Ohio PGA would also like to thank all of our juniors that have participated throughout this year. Our staff has greatly enjoyed their time with these kids, and we are already looking forward to next year.
