Springboro’s Jordan Gilkison tied the competitive course record of 8-under par 64 at the Country Club of Hudson on Monday, while earning medalist honors at the 2021 U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifying Tournament in Cleveland.
The Hudson CC course record had been set previously by Rickie Fowler.
Chagrin Falls’ Grant Gobezie earned the second U.S. Junior qualifying spot with a 4-under par 68, and Fairview Park’s Topher Reed took the third spot with a 69.
The three qualifying players move on to the 2021 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at the Country Club of North Carolina in the Village of Pinehurst on July 19-24th.
