After the 2.5 inches of rain that fell on Mother’s Day, Firestone South was very playable for the Northern Ohio PGA’s Bridgestone Golf / Jani-King Pro-Pro and Match Play Qualifier.
Playing in the final group of the day, the team of Dennis Miller and Mark Evans overcame a double-bogey 6 at the par-4 fourth hole yet still fashioned a 4-under par 66 to win by one shot over Gary Rusnak and Kevin Sullivan.
Based on the finishes from today, teams will be seeded into brackets for season long match play, to be posted here.
