Three of the four players on Massillon’s Shady Hollow Country Club team shot par or better, and that solid play earned them a four shot victory in the 2021 NOGA Interclub Team Championship, part of the Great Lakes Auto Scratch Series.
Jeff Thrams shot 2-under par 70 (and earned co-medalist honors), while Josh Clay and Kurt Peterson shot even par 72 to make up the three scores of four players for their team total.
Avon Oaks Country Club and Silver Lake Country Club tied for second place at 2-over par 218, led with 1-under par 71 scores by Tim Skufca and Mark Guadagni respectively.
Shaun Kloetzer of NOHIO.GOLF Club also shot a bogey-free 70 to earn individual co-honors and help his team to a fourth place finish.
