The team of Ella Wong (JR), Mike Stickler, Patrick Flipovitz, Peter Eells, and Thomas Wong fired an incredible score of 29-26–55 (17 under par) to win the JR-4AM Team Division at Sand Ridge Golf Club in Chardon, OH.
The format is unique; the amateur foursome plays a scramble and the junior plays stroke play in a junior division, and the team score is the better ball of the scramble score or the junior score for each hole. The Stickler team posted 13 birdies and two eagles to claim the team title.
The second place team of Connor Gdovin (JR), Joe Del Balso, Ryan O’Donnell, Jeff Sewitke, and Kevin Huster, also had two eagles, but were two less in the birdie department to finish two back with an outstanding 15 under par performance.
