RESULTS: 2019 North Coast Junior Tour Championship

Samuel Marciano (Concord) wins the Tour Championship by 3 strokes in the Boys 16-19 division at Quail Hollow (Concord). Samuel will be forever recognized among some of NCJT’s junior tour legends that have won this major championship, including Jason Dufner and Jason Kokrak. Samuel shot 74-77–151 over two day. He played steady and slightly conservative with only 3 birdies, but he managed to keep double bogey off the scorecard for 36 holes. Wyatt Chapman (Mentor) finished second by match of cards over Thomas Coyne (University Hts) with 154 totals. Wyatt had 5 birdies over two rounds for 79-75–154. Thomas started each round with a double and a bogey, but was able to fight back for 78-76–154.

2019 NCJT Tour Championship - Boys 14-15

Christopher Bridge won the Boys 14-16 division with 77-85–162. Christopher started his championship birdie-birdie and never looked back winning by 6 strokes. Ajay Morris (Cortland) was 2nd with 87-81–168. Tyler Schwenk (Eastlake) finished 3rd with 89-82–171.

2019 NCJT Tour Championship - Girls

Aaryanna Morris (Cortland) played very well to win the Girls division with 74-76–150. Ella Wong (Pepper Pike) had the first round lead with 73, but Aaryanna played the first 5 one under on day 2 to grab the early lead and never looked back winning by 8 strokes. Ella had 73-85–158 to finish 2nd. Her 73 on day 1 was her career low round and a great way to close out her Classic Cup winning season. Lauren Bangasser shot 87-87–174 to finish 3rd.
