RESULTS: 2019 NOGA Fall Four-Ball

Ties at the top and tight victories were the results from a beautiful day at Fairlawn Country Club in the 2019 Northern Ohio Golf Association Fall Four-Ball Tournament.

The low rounds of the day, a pair of 5-under par 65s in a better ball format, belonged to Joseph and Jonathan Albrecht (Jonathan a member at the host course Fairlawn), who were playing along side Chris Okeson and Nathanael Matthews both out of Stonewater.

Those two teams finished a tidy four shots ahead of the next best scores, both in their Division and in the field.

Team Albrecht ran off a whopping five birdie skin winners in their division to pad their T1, while Okeson’s T1 gave him his fourth victory/share of the season — locking up NOGA Player of the Year honors.

In the Senior AA Division, Tom Laubacher and Tom Baugh paired to nip buddies Tom Skidmore and Bill Downing by a single shot, 69-70.

In the A Flight, it was a tie at 72 by Tom Patterson and Dave Ramos with Greg Hazlett and Joel Recht to finish at the top. The Senior A Flight was won with a solid even-par score of 70 by Tom Barnish and Ed Echan.

B Flight featured another tie for the top spot, as Scott Mitchell and Ken Bauza finished level with Jeff Mirelli and Dante D’Andrea at 79. Senior B saw Tim Habeck and Rick Bock earn the win.
