Dylan Fitchet lead the way at the North Coast Junior Tour Sand Ridge Junior Invitational with rounds of 72-69–141 (-3). Dylan finished strong with 33 (-3) on his last nine holes. He had 8 birdies over 36-holes and the only blemish on his second round was a double at #7 (otherwise it was par or birdie). Paul Mastros also had a strong finish, he was one over after 15 and finished birdie, birdie, eagle to shoot 69 in his final round. His 75-69–144 (E) finish was good enough for 2nd place in the Boys 16-19 division. Andrew Kaye and Connor Gdovin were right in the mix until both shot 2 over on there last 4 holes. Andrew was able slip by Connor on the last hole to finish 3rd.
In the Boys 14-15 division, Robert Kimmel (r) and Julian Dugan (c) were neck and neck up until the last 3 holes. Robert played the last three holes 2 under and Julian play them 2 over. That 4 shot swing allowed Robert to over take Julian to win the title. Robert had 79-76–155 and Julian had 81-77–158. Clark Nemer was able to rebound from an 88 to a final round 74 to take third place at 162. He finished 3 ahead of Dominik Cosic who was the only other player in the division to shoot a round in the seventies.
In the Girls division, Laine Hursh (r) turned things around in a big way to over take Caroline Wing (c). Laine shot 87 on the first day and came back with a 72 on the final round. to win by two shots. Caroline was 4 ahead going into the final nine holes. Laine played the final nine in 34 (-2) and Caroline ended with 40 on the nine. The six shot swing allow Laine to take the title by 2 strokes. Caroline had 81-80–161 and finished 9 better than Marina Marusic (l) who had 83-87–170 to finish 3rd.
