RESULTS: 2018 Turkeyfoot Spring 2-M Scramble

When a tournament field gets beaten by a wide margin, it’s usually done by one team that has a spectacular day.

In the 2018 Turkeyfoot Spring 2-Player Scramble, two teams lapped the field.

Early in the day, the veteran Canton team of Nick Lambos and Kurt Peterson put together a 6-under par 29 back nine charge to reach an impressive finishing score of 10-under par 61.

For most of the day, that early score held a whopping 3-shot lead over the rest of the field.

But near the end of the day, the young-gun team of Jimmy Wild and Zach Koinis used an eagle on the par-5 7th hole and a birdie-birdie-birdie finish to also reach the 10-under par number and grab a tie at the top. Their front-side eagle was good for a skin, earning them the big haul for the tournament.

Finishing at 7-under par, the teams of Bobby Spino and Shayne Bishop joined with Quinn Parker and Kyle Jones to share T3.
