Bentley Stover of Pepper Pike played solid at Punderson with 15 pars, 2 bogeys and one birdie finished with 73 (+1) to win the Boys 16-19 Division Friday in the North Coast Junior Tour. Adam Marcus (Pepper Pike) finished 2nd with 77.
Conor Gdovin of Highland Hts edged out Dominik Cosic of Concord by one stroke to win the Boys 14-15 division. Conor played solid with 12 pars and 6 bogeys, and 4 of those came in a 5 hole stretch. Dominik also played solid after a double bogey start, but posted 12 pars over the next 17 holes.
Laine Hursh of Chardon won the Girls division by one stroke over the young Ella Wong of Pepper Pike. Laine started with a triple bogey, but came back with 2 birdies and finished with an 83. Ella played steady with pars and bogeys, except for #6 where she had her only double.
