The Zoar Spring 2-man Scramble was played Saturday at Zoar Village Golf Club. 38 teams competed in the inconvenient rainy conditions on a golf course that was set up tough and in fantastic shape.
The team of Tom Seever and Raul Mendoza posted a solid 8 under par 64 to claim first place honors.
Mike Simpson and Aaron Crewse tied with Allen Freeman and Ty Kovach for second place, just one stroke off the pace.
There was only one skin won on the day, an Eagle 3 on the par-5 second hole by Kovach and Freeman, good for $760.
The next event on the Zoar Village Golf Club schedule is the Zoar Memorial on May 28-29.
