The Solon Comets remained undefeated in the Greater Cleveland Conference with a 167-181 victory over visiting Medina on Wednesday afternoon at Grantwood Golf Course.
In a dual between the two top players in the conference, Jennifer Wang fired an even par 35 to earn medalist honors, edging out Medina’s Alyssa Drehs who shot a 39. The depth of Solon provided the difference as they received a pair of 44’s from Annie Liu and Catherine Wang to secure the victory and hand Medina its first conference loss.
The duo of Maddie Debnar and Kathryn Cassidy added 47’s for the Bees.
