On a beautiful day for golf, the YMCA of Greater Cleveland held its 2016 Cleveland YMCA Golf Classic at Firestone Country Club’s South Course today.
On hand were Cleveland Browns fan-favorites Bernie Kosar and Josh Cribbs.
Hitting drives on the par-5 second hole on behalf of participants was Kyle Blakely (right) from Greenville, SC, a Long Drivers of America champ who has participated in more than 175 charity events nationwide.
The winning team shot a score of 10-under par 60: Steve Erne, Dave Fazekas, Jason Reimueller, and Nick Mezlak. They won by two shots over the runner-up team of Victor Davis, Michael Davis, Matthew Davis and Tom Randall.
The on-course skills contest results were as follows: Longest Drive #1: Jason Reimueller; Closest to the Pin #5: Chris Shienkaruk; Longest Putt #6: Matt Previts; and Longest Drive #10: Matt Davis.
