Jim Cea pitches to the final green while John Kabasky watches them seal up a big win in the Turkeyfoot Fall Jumble.

Turkeyfoot Lake Golf LinksJim Cea continued his incredible personal hot streak.

John Kabasky continued his season-long run of being the teammate to have in a two-man event.

And together, they lapped the field at the Turkeyfoot Fall Jumble by a ridiculous five shots, stuffing their pocket with $2,335 in the process.

Cea and Kabasky set a tone of domination in the scramble portion of the event on the Water Nine, posting an obscene 9-under par score that included an eagle chip-in on the 26th hole that took the only skin on that set.

Then they tied for first place with a 4-under par score on the better ball segment, and for good measure pocketed half of the skins pot there with one of only two birdies on the long and windy par-3 8th hole, when no outright skins were won.

To make it clear how much they dominated in the scramble and better ball segments, Cea and Kabasky could have come home on the alternate shot nine holes with a score of 42 and still grabbed a share of the win. Instead, the played conservatively and finished with a 2-over par 37 on that nine for a staggering 11-under par total of 94 and a five-shot victory.

Brian Smith and Jason Leeds grabbed $1,397 on the day by finishing T2 overall, T1 in the alternate shot, and grabbing all of the skins money in the alternate shot segment with a pair of eagles, at 10 and 16.

Past that, the remaining amounts were split among a good number of teams.

Cea leads the ADGA Senior Division points list for 2013 with a season that includes a win in the Senior Lanning’s Stroke Play, a second place finish in the Summit Senior that included a first-round 65, and he just recently won the Dave Towell Cadillac Shoot-out against a field of youngsters. He also shot a personal best score last week at Turkeyfoot, posting 62.

Kabasky has played a solid season in the Chippewa Scratch League 2-man series, partnering with Nate Petry. They held down the top spot on money list lead for the first half of the year, and currently sit in 5th position. At Turkeyfoot, Cea and Kabasky made an unstoppable pairing.

Thanks to Charlie Mozingo and Tim Davis for running another great Turkeyfoot 2-man event. The golf course was in fantastic condition once again! Final results below.
