Dave Pulk, formerly from Lake Forest CC in Hudson but now residing in Williamsburg, VA, trekked back to Ohio and played two solid rounds of golf over Brookside Country Club in Canton to lap the field in the 2012 Ohio Senior Amateur Championship today.
Pulk backed up his first round score of 3-under par 68 with a solid even-par 71 today to win by a whopping four shots over Ray Sovik of Powell, Ohio.
Pulk made the day intesting with bogeys on 5, 8 and 9, but came roaring back on the inward nine with a 3-birdie 33 to seal the deal.
Randy Reifers of Columbus took the Super Seniors division honors with a 74-73.
