Thirteen teams slugged it out in the cold, wind and rain at the 3-man cash scramble at Pine Hills Golf Course in Hinckley on Sunday. But even with the weather-reduced turnout, the winning team still walked away with a cool $1,500 for their effort.
Overcoming temperatures that dropped as low as 47 degrees with increasingly strong winds and a steady rain for the most of the back nine, the team of Josh Anderson, Zach Sebert and Will Robbins shot a strong 12-under par 60 to take the title by one shot over the team of Geoff Wood, Jamie Wood and Tony Briggs.
