The Northern Ohio PGA is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 40th Ohio Senior Open Championship, a prestigious event steeped in tradition. This year’s championship will be held on May 28-29, 2025, at Firestone Country Club’s renowned Fazio Course. Firestone has proudly hosted this iconic tournament since 1996, with only a brief pause in 2001 and 2002 due to club renovations.
The 2025 championship will feature two divisions:
– Super Senior Division: For players 60 years of age and older, playing from Firestone’s hybrid tees (approximately 6,100 yards).
– Main Division: For players 50 years of age and older, playing from the main tees (approximately 6,600 yards).
NEW FOR 2025: The maximum handicap index for amateurs has been adjusted to 6.0 to enhance the competitive field.
Entry Fee: $285 for PGA professionals and amateurs; $330 for Non-PGA professionals. Entry fee includes tournament rounds, cart, lunch both days, and access to the practice range.
Registration Deadline: Registration will close on May 21, 2025 at midnight.
