It was all smiles from the competitions, volunteers, and staff today on the first day of the 2nd Annual Ohio Adaptive Open presented by the John T. Reis Foundation. The growth of the tournament over just one year was remarkable and it showed in the results of the first day.
Chris Roberts, a Texas native, holds the lead in the Men’s Overall Division. Chris is participating in the Arm Impairment Division and shot a 2-over-par 74 to take the overall lead into the final day. Roberts was able to post four birdies on his card today, giving him a one-stroke lead heading into Sunday.
The Women’s Overall Division is led by Sophia Howard, who posted a 90. Howard, a Michigan native and another participant in the arm impairment division, was able to stay consistent throughout the day posting a 45 on both the front and the back today. Sophia will take a three-stroke lead into the final day at Seneca.
