Canton’s Madison Reemsnyder, who just completed her freshman year at Xavier, shot a 2-under par 70 at Raintree Golf & Events Center in Green to lead after the first round of the 2023 Women’s Stark County Amateur Golf Championship.
Reemsnyder leads Rachel DiDonato by seven shots.
Gail Hackett leads the Senior Division after a first round 74, while Doreen Smith leads the Net Division.
The second round of the 36 hole championship will be played tomorrow, again at Raintree.
