Belmont Country Club’s Mike Stone leads after round one of the Northern Ohio Senior PGA Professional Championship at Shawnee Country Club in Lima, Ohio.
Stone shot 71 (-1) and leads by one shot over Steve Parker, Gary Rusnak, and Dan Terry.
The Northern Ohio PGA Section Senior Professional Championship will qualify four players to the 2023 Senior PGA Professional Championship. This year’s site is the PGA Golf Club (Wanamaker & Ryder Courses) in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The event will be held on October 24-29, 2023. The event will also qualify 4 alternate spots.
Round two resumes at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
