The first round of the Gatorade Collegiate hosted by The College of Wooster at Zoar Golf Club was played Saturday afternoon.
Baldwin Wallace sits atop the leaderboard with a 2 over par team total of 290 after Saturday’s play. Miami University at Hamilton is next at 297. Rosemont College (Philadelphia, PA) and Mt Union are next at 298. The host school, Wooster, is one stroke back at 299.
Capital and Adrian (Michigan) posted a 303 while Kent State-Tuscarawas totaled a 313. Along with the 8 teams, there were also 17 individuals that competed.
The day’s low score was 70 by Tyler Overberg of Miami-Hamilton. Four players were one under par, at 71: Jack Kyle (BW), Hunter Mickatavage (Rosemont), Tyler Ellis (Mt.U) and Chris Dearth (Cap).
The final round begins Sunday at 11 am with the leaders scheduled to tee off just after 1 pm.
