The Northern Ohio Golf Association has finalized its 2024 Great Lakes Auto Scratch Series schedule. This season will feature 11 tournaments in total, including Stroke Play and Four-Ball season-long match play qualifiers at Youngstown Country Club and Mayfield Sand Ridge Golf Club.
The scratch series will make two appearances on the West side of the state this season, with a Four-Ball event at Belmont Country Club and a Stroke Play event at Catawba Island Club later on in the season.
NOGA has also added one tournament with a new format to the Scratch Series. This year, there will be a Foursomes Event at Pine Hills Golf Club, a public golf course in Hinckley. NOGA has used this format in the Lewis Cup but never as a stand-alone event.
A signature tournament for NOGA, the Interclub Championship, is also heading to a new venue this year. Congress Lake Club will host the 102nd edition of the historic championship.
All NOGA Scratch Series events are open to any amateur golfer, male or female, 19 years of age or older, holding an active NOGA/GHIN Handicap Index® at the time of registration from an authorized NOGA member club. The Handicap Index requirement to enter a Scratch Series event is 5.4 or lower.
Players who are not GHIN members of a NOGA Member Club (or those who want to change their affiliation) can join the 700+ member NOGA Club to gain eligibility for these NOGA events.
Each NOGA Great Lakes Auto Scratch Series tournament opens for entry three weeks in advance of the event date and closes seven days in advance. ENTRY DETAILS HERE >
