PREVIEW: 2020 Stark County Am

Stark County Amateur - HOFThe 86th playing of the Stark County Amateur Golf Championship is July 25 and 26, so it’s time to get your entry in before the 2020 field is sold-out.

Conducted by the The Stark County Amateur Golf Hall of Fame Committee and presented in 2020 by Foxy Golf, this 36-hole individual stroke play county championship will played in four divisions: Championship, Senior 50-59, Super Senior 60-69, and Master Senior 70+.

The first round will be played on Saturday, July 25 at Skyland Pines Golf Course in Canton. The final round goes on Sunday, July 26 at Ohio Prestwick Country Club in Uniontown.

Revived by Randy Young and Doug Van Nostran back in 2017, the Stark County Am has become one of the highlights of the NEOH tournament season. This success is due the quality of the golf courses played (both courses are in great condition) and the strong payouts provided to the top finishers (substantial amounts to 40% of the field!).

All four 2019 Champions will be back to defend: Maxwell Moldovan in the Championship Division; Nick Lambos Age 50-59; Rick Bryson Age 60-69; and Alex Dottavio in Age 70+.

The event is open to all amateur players regardless of residence, so get signed up today…
