Hoban High School is returning three letterman to its golf team in 2016: Logan Harding Sr., Dylan Erks Jr., and Tommy Witschey Jr.
The 2015 Hoban boys overall head to head record last year was 138-92. The team is looking forward to a very difficult schedule that includes 36 hole event at Quail Hollow (NDCL Lion Invitational), two trips to Columbus (Turnberry Golf Course and New Albany Links), North Coast League Tournament at Pine Hills, Midwest Prep Golf Classic in New York at Peek n ‘Peak, and the Hoban Invitational at Portage Country Club.
The team will rely heavily on the returning letterman (Dylan, Tommy, and Logan) throughout the season, but the top newcomers that should see significant time in the varsity lineup will be Colton Vincelette Soph., Vincent Grosso Soph., Aaron Apticar Fr., Patrick Cloonan Sr., Chris Stiller Jr., and Matt Russo Soph.
The team has three main goals this season 18 Hole Team Average of 319 (Last year was 326), Win three tournaments, and qualify for the Division I State Championship.
