Chippewa Monday Scratch LeagueWelcome to the 26th season of the Chippewa Monday Night 2-Man Scratch League!

Let’s hope Mother Nature cooperates as we kick off the season this Monday, May 5th.

This is a very unique league in that we have both seniors (55 and over) and younger players competing for the same top prizes and the same skins pot, along with smaller separate skins pots for each division.

With the 55 and over group playing the white tees at a reasonable distance from the blue tees where the younger guys play, we’ve effectively created a weekly tournament where a player of any age can compete, at scratch, for the same prize pool. And a team can be made up of a younger guy and an older guy, too!

Cost will remain the same for the league this year, $165 per person, and includes two steak nights, one at the halfway point of the season and one at the end of the season.

Each week is a new event, so if you can’t make it for Week 1, we will accept team registrations up through May 26th.

Standings with money leaders and skins leaders will be kept updated each week, and will be posted right here every Tuesday on NEOHgolf.com. This year we’ll add a trophy for the top money winners in both the Junior and the Senior divisions.

Formats for the weekly events include Scramble, Best Ball, Combined Score, Shamble, and on steak nights, a series of different formats over three hole matches.

Bring your A-game and let’s get ready to rumble!!

League play will begin Monday May 5th, and run for 18 weeks, with no play on Mondays where Holidays fall. Its casual, you don’t have to be a scratch player to compete and get lucky with a skin, so grab a partner and come to Chippy to have a good time and enjoy some good golf.

We are working on some new features in the Shank Road Lounge, and you can look forward to seeing a new wine list, new menu items, and several more improvements we have been working hard on with new Food and Beverage director Jeff Bertolini.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday Night!
