Bunker Hill Golf Course in Medina has a full slate of indoor cash golf tournaments during the cold winter months, playing some of the PGA Tour’s most recognizable courses on their high-tech golf simulators!
The Bunker Hill Player’s Club Indoor Tournament Series is an open format that allows players to come in and play a tournament round any day during the week just by calling and setting up a tee time.
Each event is handicapped; to establish a handicap players must play in the two handicapping skins rounds or participate in two events. If a player has not established a handicap before participating in an event, they will play their first two events as a 0 handicap.
The “handicapping skins games” begin Monday, January 4th. The cost for the skins game is $30, with $15 going toward skins. Any skin won will be paid out the following week.
The Tournament Series begins Monday, January 18th. The schedule will follow the PGA Tour schedule as closely as possible. Each week there will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place (typically, first place is worth $175!). In addition to the weekly cash prizes, players will earn points toward a season long points race. Points will be reset for the last two events and a season-long champion will be crowned. Weekly and season-long prizes will vary based upon the number of entrants, but he season-long points champion will win a 2010 Bunker Hill Golf Course season pass! (The type of season pass will be determined by amount of entrants throughout the season; season pass could hold restrictions such as play on certain days, play during certain time, or unlimited play.)
The cost for each event will be $50. For entry into 5 (half) of the events the cost is $200. For entry into all 10 events the cost is $400. Each event will be 18 holes, and scores and handicaps must be verified by a Bunker Hill Simulator Host immediately following the round.
