First Tee – Cleveland is having its first-ever 100 Hole Golf Marathon on Friday, July 30 at Seneca Golf Course, the beautiful Cleveland Metroparks course in Broadview Heights.
With a 7:00 AM shotgun start, the goal is to play 100 holes in one day (or play as many holes as you can).
There is no entry fee for a player, however, all participants are asked to raise a minimum of $500. First Tee – Cleveland provides an online portal to help players fundraise by asking family and friends to pledge an amount per hole, or to make a straight donation.
Participants will play in groups of two, with each player getting his/her own cart. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the day. Each player receives an Ampcaddy bluetooth speaker that hooks onto the golf cart ($80 value). Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers (individual and team) plus the player who plays the most holes.
The marathon is limited to 36 players, and spots are still available! For more details or to register, visit:

The deadline to register is Friday, July 16.
ABOUT FIRST TEE CLEVELAND
First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, the non-profit provides active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do.
First Tee – Cleveland is one of 150 chapters of First Tee, a national initiative begun in 1997. Serving youth ages 6-18 across Northeast Ohio, the Cleveland chapter was founded 19 years ago. The main campus at Washington Golf Course in Newburgh Heights features a nine-hole golf course operated by Cleveland Metroparks. Programs are also held at five other regional golf courses, in schools and with community partners. Participant fees cover only 7% of the total yearly individual program cost. First Tee will never turn a child away due to the inability to pay program fees.
