To help more girls hone their golf skills, the Ohio Girls Golf Foundation (OGGF) has announced its roster of 2019 Spring Golf Clinics.
“As a nonprofit foundation, we offer golf clinics to make it affordable for all girls to participate and thus help improve their golf game,” says OGGF Executive Director and Avon Oaks CC pro Judd Stephenson. “These clinics will examine all aspects of the game, from full swing to short game to putting.”
The 2019 Saturday morning clinics for Northeast Ohio will be held at:
Windmill Golf Center in Macedonia on April 6, 13, 20, 27 from 9 to 10 a.m.
Black Brook Golf Course in Mentor on April 6, 13, 20, 27 from 10 to 11 a.m.
Pine Lakes Golf Club in Hubbard on April 6, 13, 20, 27 from 11 a.m. to noon
Mallard Creek Golf Club in Columbia Station on May 4, 11, 18, 25 from 3 to 4 p.m.
Clinics will also be conducted in Dublin and Bowling Green.
Girls ages 8 to 18 can participate in these comprehensive clinics, which are tailored to both beginning and advanced golfers, taught by LPGA and PGA instructors. Cost is $20 per clinic.

As part of OGGF’s Ongoing Instruction Program, girls who participate in the spring clinics will have an opportunity to continue working on their skills through individual or smaller group private lessons, partially funded by the Foundation.
