The Northern Ohio PGA will host a Rules of Golf seminar at the Firestone Country Club Media Center (located just west of the club house) on Saturday, March 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Attendees will learn about the essential rules of the game, be introduced to some of the new rules for the 2014 season and receive a USGA 2014 Rules Book.
The seminar will be conducted by:
Mike Raby, PGA, a member of the PGA of America Rules Committee. Raby has ruled at several Web.com Tour events, and will be part of the rules committee at an upcoming PGA Championship.
David Griffith, Tournament Director for the NOPGA.
Randy Iceman, PGA, tournament rules official for the NOPGA.
“This rules seminars is ideal for league managers, avid golfers, and weekend warriors looking to better understand the rules of the game,” said Dominic Antenucci, PGA, Executive Director of the Northern Ohio PGA. “The event is interactive, and we encourage questions and audience participation.”
The cost is $20 for the general public, and free for members of the Northern Ohio PGA Junior Tour. Registration the morning of Saturday, March 15 opens at 9:00 a.m.
