NOPGA Lessons, Celebrities: Cleveland Golf Show

The interactive golf options available during this weekend’s Cleveland Golf & Travel Show — like hitting balls, testing out new equipment, putting, playing a par-3 in a hole-in-one contest, etc. — are just the start.

Visitors to the I-X Center also can meet some golf celebrities, listen to presentations from a series of noted speakers, and get a FREE GOLF LESSON from a Northern Ohio PGA pro!

Plus you can visit the Northeast Ohio Golf booth while you’re there, too!

GOLF CELEBRITY SPEAKERS

Michael Breed is currently the Director of Instruction at the Michael Breed Golf Academy at Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point. Most famously, he is the past host of The Golf Fix on Golf Channel, and he currently hosts ‘A New Breed of Golf’ on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, where he covers the latest golf headlines and offers swing tips.

Michael has worked with over 30 PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and Senior Tour players in his teaching career. In 2003, he was selected as a Top 100 Instructor in America by GOLF Magazine. In 2011, Michael was voted into the Top 50 Instructors in America by Golf Digest, now ranking 13th on this exclusive list and #1 in the state of New York. He received his career’s highest honor in 2012 when he was chosen as the PGA of America Teacher of the Year.

Breed will appear and speak at the Cleveland Golf Show on Saturday.

Brian Pavlet is a National Long Drive star. His career began in 1993 when he launched a 435-yard blast in a Salt Lake City, Utah regional competition. From there, Brian went to the National Long Drive Championship and won it all. Since winning, he has not looked back. He has made a record eight Final 8 appearances in the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship. He has been the LDA’s most consistent performer for the past decade. He held the #1 ranked position for more than 20 months and was featured in Golf Digest for having one of the best power swings in golf. Brian has performed more than 1,200 shows worldwide and even entertained the troops in Iraq with the USO.

Pavlet will appear and speak all three days of the Cleveland Golf Show.

Golf Show attendees can stop by the NOPGA Range along the right-side length of the Show floor and register for a FREE 10 minute golf lesson with a Northern Ohio PGA professional! Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome to get some no-cost feedback on their swing.
